Modern home designs are more efficient and functional than traditional spaces. This is because it focuses on adding elements that are functional, space-saving, and can serve multiple purposes. You get lots of such options for your home design. For instance, fancy sofa-cum-beds are very popular in households. TV units with additional storage space are used as well for using space efficiently. Similarly, you can opt for a wardrobe design. that comes with dressing tables. This trend is on the rise, and that too for the right reasons. Since you have your clothes and dressing table in one place, dressing up gets much more convenient. You will not have to go to and fro between the wardrobe and dressing table every time you try something on.

You get many different options while choosing a wardrobe design idea with a dressing table. If you are not sure which option to choose, here are a few practical wardrobe designs you can consider:

01 of 03 Full wall wardrobe with a dressing table

The full-wall wardrobe is certainly one of the most popular wardrobe designs. People love them because they offer ample storage space and allow you to make the room interiors appear more organised and spacious. You can add lots of drawers, racks, cabinets, hooks, and even a locker to this wardrobe. Also, their look compliments modern home designs.

As the name suggests, the wardrobe design idea covers the entire wall. If you want to add a dressing table to that space, you can make a few modifications to your wardrobe design. Remove the storage section at any one end of the wardrobe and replace it with a dressing table and mirror. You will have the perfect wardrobe with a dressing table in your room. Many people prefer creating the dressing table in the center as well. Irrespective of where you choose to position it, make sure that you install lighting near the dressing table. This will ensure that you can see your reflection properly while getting ready. Choose the wardrobe mirror design carefully as well. A stool or ottoman is also required so that you can sit and get ready comfortably. Further, make use of the space above the dressing table. It can be done by installing a ceiling cabinet.

02 of 03 Open wardrobe design with a dressing table

Just like open-concept rooms, open-concept wardrobes are on the rise. People love the look of an open-concept wardrobe. These wardrobe designs appear very stylish and elevate the aesthetic beauty of the space. One of the main reasons people love this wardrobe is that they can keep everything displayed. This adds more colours and visual interest to the room interiors. Also, you will not have trouble finding anything since everything will stay clearly visible. You can create a beautiful statement wall with it. People with small rooms also prefer this option as it has an airier look.

You can make space at one end of the wardrobe for a dressing table. All you have to do is set up a table, stool, and a mirror. Just make sure that the elements you choose are in harmony with the open wardrobe design. Pay attention to the wardrobe mirror design as well. Also, it is very crucial that you keep your open wardrobe organised at all times. Otherwise, the clutter will stay clearly visible. It will diminish the overall appearance of the room interiors. If you cannot keep the wardrobe organised at all times, an open wardrobe might not be right for you.

03 of 03 Walk-in wardrobe with floating island dressing table

If you have the luxury of space, you can consider opting for a walk-in wardrobe. People love the walk-in wardrobe concept. These are very spacious and can store all your belongings. Moreover, they are perfect if you want an open-concept wardrobe but do not want it to stay in clear sight. While the wardrobe will stay covered from the outside, you can create an open-concept wardrobe design inside. It will allow you to access everything easily without keeping them displayed to others. Also, it will add a luxurious feel to your home’s interior design.

Besides lighting, a dressing table is crucial in this wardrobe design. This is because you will be able to easily check yourself after dressing up. Otherwise, you will have to go out of the wardrobe every time. It can get very inconvenient. Creating a dressing table is very simple. Create a floating island dressing table in the middle of your walk-in closet. You will be able to move around easily and access your clothes. Depending on your preferences, the mirror can be installed only on one side or both sides. Do not forget to add a sitting stool as well. If you have mirrors on both sides, keep a stool on both sides as well.
